Echuca is located 210 kilometres to the north of Melbourne. Echuca - Moama straddles the Victorian and NSW border and has the Murray River running straight through the middle. The river hosts a lot of water skiing boats and the paddle steamers that the area is famous for.

Mountain biking has just come to the Echuca - Moama area with the development of a trail at the Five Mile Reserve. Dirt Art have completed the trail which is 7 kms long and offers a mix of fast and rolling terrain and includes wall rides, drops and boardwalks. In addition there is a pump track and skills development area.
