Foster is located 160 kilometres to the south east of Melbourne. Foster is surrounded by beautiful country side and in particular the spectacular Wilsons Promontory to the south and associated Corner Inlet. This area is great for those that like the outdoors with many hiking and water based sports as well for options. I rank the Prom as one of the most beautiful parts of Victoria so don't be put off by mountain biking not being allowed in the park and get down there for a swim, hike, drive or whatever else. You won't be disappointed.

The Foster MTB trail is located in the Foster Flora and Fauna Reserve and has a combination of blue and black trails for riders to enjoy. Access can be obtained from the Great Southern Rail Trail or by parking in the parking lot in O'Connors Road. The loop is about 7 kms in length.
