Trail Description

This is where you're headed (or coming back from) - Buller rising over the Howqua Valley.

As you head up Brocks Road, you can see Mount Buller off in the distance as shown above. I haven't verified it by riding it but apparently you can do a circuit from Mount Buller, down the Corn Hill logging track and then along the Howqua Feeder Track to get back to the Brocks Road and Howqua Hills area. This is the orange trail in the map above.

Apparently if you have enough people, the Mirimbah bus shuttle will collect you from Howqua Hills and take you to Mount Buller to give you a downhill run for most of the way home. For further information on this route, there is a thread on Rotorburn here. Obviously if you head out here, be well prepared with maps, GPS, food, wet weather gear, etc and take all the usual precautions re leaving trip plans with someone. There's some information on the Felt Epix website as well for those that are keen to explore this area.
