Mansfield is located 180 kilometres to the north east of Melbourne.

Mountain biking in Mansfield can be undertaken at the Rifle Butts Mountain Bike Park which is located in a small reserve to the south of Mansfield. The trails are administered by the Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club which supports road and MTB disciplines. Whilst in a smallish reserve, there are about 8 kilometres of trails there. Use the map link below to get there. In broad terms, you get onto Rifle Range Road and about 100 metres after it turns to gravel, there is a sign located there at the entrance to the park.

You can ride the tracks at any time (assuming there aren't any club events on). The club requests that you sign the Riflebutts Reserve Visitors Book which is located at the shelter. Please ensure you do this as the club uses this information to apply for grants and the like based on the number of riders accessing the facilities.
