Mildura is located 550 kilometres to the north west of Melbourne. Mildura straddles the Victorian and NSW border and has the Murray River running straight through the middle. Because of this, water sports such as water skiing and fishing are well catered for and there are some of the old paddle steamers still plying the river as part of the tourist trade.

Mountain biking is relatively limited in terms of the "mountain" bit due to the very flat nature of the area. Having said that, there are a few options in the area as per the links below.
