Mount Hotham

Winter at Mount Hotham. Pictures used with permission of Travel Victoria.

Mount Hotham is located 380 kilometres to the north east of Melbourne. Mount Hotham does not have the large trail networks of the other ski resorts such as Thredbo and Mount Buller but has a number of longer trails connecting the local towns and various fire trails. Below are a number of links which may be of use.

Mount Hotham rides Information from the Mount Hotham website. Fairly limited information but indicates you can get a map from the Mt Hotham Resort Management Board office during office hours. This is located on the Great Alpine Road in Mount Hotham.
One from Strava... This looks like an interesting ride following the Kiewa Valley back down to Bright. Looks like mainly management trails from the satellite pictures but provides a 57 km ride through state forests with a fairly constant grade downhill back to Bright (1500 metres of descent). If you give it a try, drop me an email with some pictures and a review and I'll post it up.
Dinner Plain Trails Trails on Dinner Plain Riders website.
Dinner Plain Village Map Map shows some of the shorter bike loops around the village as well as some details on some longer ones.
